A clipping depicting a scene from "The Last Days of Pompeii" a demonstration of the Roman city Pompeii getting consumed by the lavas of Mt. Vesuvius. The image includes costumed actors, set, and the view of a replica Mt. Vesuvius in the background. The performances were viewed in an enormous amphithteare behind the Manhattan Beach Hotel.
