Warehouse, Water and Dock streets, Brooklyn; May 22, 1936. Northeastward view along Water Street.
Built about 1884 by Arbuckle Bros. For the storage of green coffee, the warehouse nestling under Brooklyn bridge was sold with the trade name "Yuban" and their entire coffee business, to General Foods, one of the vast cartels of the food industry. It is still used to store green coffee. The roasting is done across the river in Manhattan, for the most part [printed in publication].
