Armbruster writing about 17th and 18th century roadways in Greenpoint or Cherry Point. He notes specifically the lack of roads isolated Greenpoint from other towns in the area. Armbruster does explain the general route of the only road to and from Greenpoint with markers and landmarks such as ponds, churches, and farms. To transport goods and to communciate with neighboring areas, farmers in Greenpoint each owned their own boat.
