Hunterfly Road 1922 [verso]
The Hunterfly Road Houses date from 1840-1880, and were originally part of an African American community. These buildings were originally part of Weeksville, founded in 1838 by James Weeks - a former slave from Virginia. Designated New York City landmarks in 1970.
