A collection of 11 reels of 16mm film home movies from 1920 - 1930. These films feature European trips, home movies, and some narrative films. Highlights include the narrative films "Race for Love" that features blackface and "War on the Roof" that shows the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn in 1925. Other highlights are parades for Charles Lindbergh's trans-Atlantic flight in New York and the Bastille Day Parade in Paris in 1927. Individual reel names will be provided at the end of the description. The films can be viewed by request under the supervision of an archivist. Granbery Jr. to Yale College and shows sports events such as hockey, rugby, football, tennis, and rowing. There also seems to be footage of the U.S. Open in tennis. There is footage from family skiing vacations, horse races, and vacation homes in the 1930's. The end of the video shows E.C. Granbery, Jr.'s time in the Pacific Arena in World War II.
